TJ and Vlad's home presented ROLU our second opportunity to work with a hiveMODULAR B-Line model. We were excited to find that this project received a fair amount of attention in the design/architecture blogosphere and was even covered by one of our favorite magazines, Architectural Record.

For this installation we poured three separate sidewalks of high-volume fly ash concrete, leaving them unconnected to eliminate run off. The trees will eventually provide passive cooling for the home and will definitely furnish a nice sense of separation from the street, while still maintaining a connection to the home's bold architecture.
We're glad for the privilege to work again with hiveMODULAR and look forward to more projects in the future!
