This job is a perfect example of the work that we hoped to find when we started our business - a young couple that was adventurous in their design sensibilities and totally receptive to our suggestions, with an exact budget in mind that we could clearly define and design to.


Josh and Abby's house had previously been an oddball in its neighborhood. In the 70s an addition that we all assumed was supposed to make the house feel more modern happened, but that's about where it ended. To bring a more personal modernity to their home, the clients did a very tasteful indoor renovation and left the outside to us. Between the landscaping and a paint job, it became the nicest house on the block for a reasonable budget. When we talk about making design accessible to everyone, this is what we mean.
