It's been a huge honor for us to work on B + W Home, designed by the celebrated architect Julie Snow for Andrew Blauvelt and Scott Winter – the Walker Art Center's Design Director and Curator, and Director of the Annual Fund, respectively.
As is often the case with our work, this project will be installed in phases as we return each year to address a new area or layer. This year we plan to approach some of Andrew and Scott's functional requirements, as well as add some more raised steel geometry and plants. Here's further information about the project:
As you can imagine, it was really exciting to see the project get some international coverage on some of our favorite architecture and design blogs. We're extremely proud of the results from the first two phases and are excited to return for Phase 3 in Summer 2009.
